Myth #2: Diet Doesn’t Do A Thing
If you have heard that diet doesn’t help get rid of your hemorrhoids, then we’ve got some good news for you— it does! Constipation is the leading cause of hemorrhoids, and one of the easiest ways to get rid of your constipation is by adding more water and fiber to your diet. Try eating about 30-40 grams of fiber per day and drinking 6-8 glasses of water every day to help ease constipation.
Myth #3: Exercise Will Make Them Worse
Eating a healthy, rich in fiber and getting a lot of regular exercises is good for your digestive system and will help you keep hemorrhoids away. The one thing that you should avoid if you are prone to hemorrhoids is holding your breath while you lift weights because this can sometimes cause you to strain yourself and get hemorrhoids.
